This project is not finished yet, but we will be working with imaginary money to create a model of an imaginary home for an imaginary profit. This shows the 21st century skill, Financial, Economic, Business Literacy, as it requires us to budget spending to create something we can sell. So far, I am most proud of my measurements for the house, as the conversion was fairly difficult. This will help me with understanding the economy, especially with housing, and also give me a purpose to research things I wouldn't normally think of at my age. So far, the most difficult work was converting the measurements and creating a sketch out of them. Again, I’m not yet finished, but I think I need to focus on accuracy of measurements and drawings, especially on the foundation of my group’s model. I have had a few assignments that involved creating models, as well as few that worked with imaginary money, but I’ve never had the combination of the two to create a theoretical business. This will certainly be useful later in life, not only for buying, selling, and building housing, but also for business and finance in general.
